re 8's or soundsplinter 8's?

well I did a little searching, and here's what I found

DD1508 >RMS 450, MAX 1800....couldnt find xmax

SS-RL-i8>Just says 200-500rms range, xmax 18.3mm

RE8>RMS 175,Xmax 12mm

AA Assassin8>250rms, xmax 16mm

dont know about the other ones, but the RE's can take 250-300rms each daily. I was giving mine 212.5watts each(425 total) and they sounded great

I have also heard 2 of the DD1508's on 900 watts and they were plenty loud too.

thx 4 the info.. i like the fact the ss has 18mm xmax which is sick.. looks like they handle they most too .. but weigh in @ 18 lbs ... and i tried to order then on the site .. says out of stock.. also the aa's r 45 bux each, re's 98, and ss 145. dunno bout the dd's

I got a 93" single cab ranger and had three re 8's in a 1.5^3@34 Hz getting 650 watts. made my own box, leg room was there and that shix BUMPED!! go with the re's, you wont be dissappointed.

if you have the money , go for the rl-i's. i got the tc1k 8's which is basicly the same thing.

my two got **** loud in my blazer and took the 500w a piece no problem. sounded excellent too i might add. friends and co-workers would sware up and down i had a dual 10 or 12" setup when it was really those two. im not sure on numbers but 'oxsign'? , a member of this forum hit a 137.x,iirc in his wifes car with two of the rl-i's.

Actually, the last numbers we put up were 139.6 legal on the dash. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif

wonder what i could hit with 6 rl's in such a small *** cab(s10 reg) like i said i like the #'s put up by the SS but only problem is where the hell can i buy em

i was thinkin with the 6 subs.. ill put 2 subs in its own chamber(3 chambers)... theyd have anywhere from .7-1.25 cf per pair..depending on which set i go with

also what do u guys think .. would 6 8"s be better than say 2 10's? or 2 12"s ? the birthsheet onmy rf says 1540watts @ 1ohm... remember tho i only have about 7-8" mounting depth so the sub has to b fairly shallow

i wasnt exactly sure and didnt feel like searching for the number though i did recall it being uppper 130's. impressive.

i wish i could get mine metered but since the truck has been over heating and just being a piece of shit i took everything out in case it decided to break down.
