Me too, though I've never heard one myself. But that has never stopped me from trying something out. Actually most of my purchases have been from hearing about them and reviews.

N00B I've never tried the new AA 8's but you may want to look into those as well.

anyhow, i'd go with the RL-i 8. had a RE12, not impressed with its SQ at all. It was kinda muddy to be honest with you.
