How much power would it be safe to run to 4 RE 8's on a daily basis... would 900wrms be too much? I want them to get enouigh power but i don't want them to last just a few months....

My friend has 4x RE 8s on an OPTI 1000.1d, he can bottom them out if he wants quite readily... but they sound great and they will do just fine if you don't abuse them. anyone lacking experience on how to set gains, and or properly manage power should not put more than 150 watts on one..

Well i found my amp... Kicker KX550.3 with a 400w @ 2ohm sub section... I figure 100wrms per sub in 3 cube ported enclosure should sound nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is a good amp. Havent used the 8s so i cant give a power recc. but the kx550.3 is a nice performer.

Ive installed that amp on a component set and two cvr10s and it did quite well. Im actually quite impressed with that little amp. You shouldn't be dissappointed
