Looks like he finally opened up his ears and went with Skar VVX, so if he feeds them properly....good stuff.

when i was searching through the forum this statement from sundownz himself talking about SA and VVX

Skar sub was designed with a bit higher linear x-max (via a longer coil which is also heavier) and a bit less motor force factor -- all of which are beneficial to low-end extension.
The SA was designed with a 10% shorter coil (lighter, few mm less linear x-max) and more motor power -- which are beneficial for SPL.
Either subs sounds quite good, IMO.
Neither is an "SPL Sub" or an "SQ Sub" -- they are both versatile and can go either way; simply leaned each one a bit farther in each direction."

I just bought the one who had a b stock, if both had b stock, I most probably still go with Skar just because he is in Florida (helping local economy), I could not tell where sundown is from.
To my ear from what Sundownz said, I probably wont be able to tell the difference from SA and VVX

Not sure why everybody is so negative on when its produced in China. When most of the stuff here in US is not made in the US.

Job security? why get mad at the Chinese they just accept the job that was given to them, in actuality you should be mad at the Americans who send the job to China, and do you really think these companies would've survived without outsourcing with the bad economy?
