Gross is 5.4 im not sure about net actually, id have to look at driver displacement.

The specs I sent with it had the net volume (I forget what it was though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif) in it, I used a Fi BL I believe for a reference on sub displacement...so it'd be very close to actual volume

Bracing, for sure. And I'm hoping you're doubling up on 3/4" for the baffle, possibly even 1"?

nice lookin box but i would compare that sub for as size goes, to the dd 9515

sub i wouldn't think the fi bl would be big enough but yea i would def double baffle an some serious bracing

just spread glue all over the first one and scerw the top piece onto it
