Rd Audio

Try Atomic...same stuff.

OH wait, yeah RD uses some special glue

actually it is not the same as atomic.. and there is more to it than just glue..... mike i believe you posted this on the ROE also? if any of you are willing to read through this thread here is some explanation of what is different about RD

heard atomic's customer sevice blows ****....so its be like gettingatomics great products minus the lame service
if you want to talk to anyone about RD i can help you out or a few other ppl can... we can give you a little bit more info.. the site is under construction right now and im not sure when the new site is going to be up... i am working on the Team RD website ask we speak right now.. aim is under my prof if u want to talk

So RD Audio is finally going to put more effort into disguising the coincidental Atomic resemblance. Why even copy and paste things from Atomic's site, that explanation hasn't arised yet...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

The only response so far is 'oopss, will be changing soon...'

Current marketing practices? Like what? RD sent me three subs to test out and do evaluations on, and report back to the general public (that means you and everyone here at CA.com) about how they perform in a true SPL enviroment. They sent me a 15" Alpha just to test out this weekend, of which i'll report back the findings here. I would think thats an exceptional way to get people interested in your product on a grass roots level. Ive never heard of Kicker or RF doing that, have you?
The only reason I am weiry is that their site seems to have mostly copied pictures. A 500 watt sub has the same pics as a 2000 watt which is supposed to have a bigger motor.

thtas what i said- they have admitted to blatently copying stuff from atomic (specs, etc.) and that spam thread that i posted (although the content of it has been deleted) it is not a good way to start a business... and dan- i am really glad they sent you the subs to try out... im sure you will give them a fair and honest review, but that doesnt really impress me... i read reviews in car audio and electronics every month, does that mean that all those products are what the mag describes? NO. Im not trying to start an argument, and i have a lot of respect for you Dan, just stating my thoughts....

And the reason for this plagiarism? Hm...

Just admit it if the product and company aren't innovative at all, might have a better start that way. Outstanding subwoofers so far from what I've read. Shady explanations, if any, for the 'coincidences.'

*EDIT* Coincidences explained....plagiarism? Did that come from the exact same place as well?

Atleast RD is starting off from a good company.
