RD Audio *pics* :)

I heard it is almost exactly the same thing as a Sundown SAZ-1500D. The only difference being that it has upgraded transformers, and a better power supply.
it does use the same board i believe made by xneon(sp?) and some components are upgraded on it but im not sure as of what ones. i will have to get back to you on that one.

I talked to Steve at Rd. It is the same board with upgraded transformers, and a bigger power supply than the SAZ-1500D.

No...it would be the best.
Because aparently Glue will allow there subs to burp off of an extra 20k watts.
?

Two of their lines can handle around 4000rms burps. 5000rms if they are built more towards spl, but 4000rms stock.

The heavyweight and superheavyweight series can handle TONS of power for burps, and I believe the old Atomic subs proved that they could as well. And with parts coming from the same place, I am sure they are of the same quality.

RD uses different soft parts than Atomic so its not completely the same. About the only thing that is the same is the backplate on it. which happens to be the most physical feature that is noticeable.

Ah ok, 2000.1 then. I wasn't quoted anything, just taking a wild guess that if MSRP is 1800 for two I could probably get them for 1500. No idea if that is true though.
I would love to see power testing numbers on the 2000.1, including strapped. Do you know how stable it is at low loads? Will it handle .5 ohms?
well the the 1750.1 tested at 2130watts @14.4 @ .5 ohm

i havent got any specs for any of the other amps as of right now but that should give you a lil preview of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My girlfriend will be competing this sunday in Elizabethtown, KY with one RD Audio 15" elite in AS1 or AS2, we're a bit undecided yet.
