I can get an RD Audio amp ( RD 3250 ) for a good deal. The guy said it SHOULD be fine with a kinetik hc1200 as an extra bat. it has a 300A fuse rating.

THe other would be a MMats 2000v2. 2000 watts at 2 ohms. it has a 100A fuse rating

I am running this in a 2006 bmw 325i, so another alternator is not an option for me. just another small bat.

the RD Audio is 375$, and the MMats is 500$

Which way should I go? I getting it by the end of the week.

I like the RD amp more, i'd be getting is from a member of this site, but I don't know if I can run it in my car. 300A fuse rating is massive for a little bmw. id be using it as a daily driver

See if the RD is a V.1 ....if so get it....Zenon board....and that price is way too much IMO on the mmatts....also...what's your electrical consist of?

its the 3250v2. looks fairly new. im honestly not sure what size my alt. is. its a 06 325i, and I know they have a 120amp alt, so to be safe, I go with that. and I have a big, stock battery upfront. I was planning on getting a kinetik hc800, just to help out a bit

so out of the two, go with the Mmats then? id be getting 2000 watts@ 2 ohms, which is just what I need. The store said they'd install it and all that for free if I get the amp there. ( custom panels in the trunk I don't mess with )

I'd choose the MMats over the RD but there are other options.

There are, but none has really stuck out to me. The Mmats seems like it will do the power I need, and not drain my electrical with out the bat, so with the bat. I should be more than good. which is exactly what i'd want. The fuse rating on the Mmats is almost too small.
