RD Audio amps? Over-rated ???

that's exactly what I thought when I saw the sale post.. seems like some nice numbers for a really good price.. but..... is there a "but" that I am not aware of? I don't know much about "RD Audio"..... more info... good or bad...
where are these prices listed...im looking at the rd1750.1

well we will see what 2010 comes to bring as far as the next forum boner company.
Most definately will not be RD.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif steve shady is not welcome here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Are you sure you're on the right forum? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Everyone here seems to hate the guy, but we're all (the newer peeps anyway) clueless as to what it is that he did....Why don't you folks that have been on here longer enlighten us as to why he's a bad guy and what's wrong with his products?!?

It's interesting, because I even had a post about his presale on the 2200v2...yet it was deleted without any notice of what I had done wrong...yet the AQ presale thread is still open...

Soooo...please let us know what's up

Thinking about getting the RD Audio 3250 V2 in the classifieds here but found this info...

http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/597243.html

Does anyone have any more info on this manufacturer or particular amp as I am finding some disturbing info which is making me a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on this RD product?

Anyone with personal experience?

Looks to me like somebody is starting sh!t because they are bored...Steve came in and said what had to be said...If you want a great amp get one, if you dont overpay to get the same power its up to you..

Steve seems to be a stand up guy, I enjoy all of my RD products top notch stuff...and cheaper then other boners around here...

I guess we can't ask questions on here anymore or ask for other's input and experience before we make a purchase either.

FYI... I already have a Sundown 4 ch amp.. and did the same kind of research on that amp and asked for other's opinion on it as well before I bought one.

Now I might be considering the RD as the price seems very competitive.. just didn't want to regret not asking for you folks about the product, the company, etc before spending my hard earned money.

You probably wouldn't understand that though.

I was talking about on ecoustics...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

I stand behind steve and his products completely. Never had a prob with him or anyone that "used" to work with him. I talk to him on avg at least one a week seein we are less than 30 min away from each other. My 1750 gets the job done and never even gets a tad warm. Id say go with RD.

I had a chance to buy a new 3250.1 V2 for $25 less than the V1. I went with the V1 because it is a proven good amp. As for the V2 I will reserve my opinion until people leave feedback after a few months.

good point...

One question though... will I need to upgrade the wiring in the car and/or electrical system to handle this 3250 v2 amp?

Currently I have 2 gauge power and grounds all around. Also have a 200 amp high output alternator installed. Will this be enough? I really don't feel like tearing the truck apart again as I just finished putting all the panels and seats back in a few weeks ago. It was a pain in the *** hiding all the wiring. Everything was such a tight fit, don't even know if I will be able to go much larger on the wiring because of that issue.

Might not be worth the trouble to even consider this.
