Right now I'm running Stinger Hyper Series RCAs but was thinking about upgrading them to something like the Stinger Bullet Series. Are those pretty good RCAs and would they really make any difference?

If you dont have any noise issues now, theres really no point to going to more expensive cables.

The only reason it might make sense would be if your install was in a showcar, and you wanted more bling.

Better cables= waste of money..

Unless you are like upgrading from 4g to 0g... Thats different... But for a/v cables it's all marketing b/s

Well actually I do have noise. Its probably alternator whine from my Stinger 220amp H/O alternator. Gets louder as I accelerate.

99% of the time noise is caused by a bad ground.

1) did you clear the paint off your grounding location?

2) did you use the factory wiring for the hu?

Also running pioneer decks have small issues with engine whine. Mine was horrible till i grounded it myself.

I have a Bullet series running to my x-over and a 4x 9ft Hyper series running from my x-over to my amps. Both are reasonably good, but there is a notable difference in build quality between the two series. Not that it matters, it isn't like we hang our components from their cables or anything. My Bullet series makes better connections to my components than does the hyper. Again, past a certain point (which the Hyper reaches, IMO) there is no effective difference.

What headunit do you have?

1) I had the the audio place we got the Alt from instal it and I don't think they did and I'm not sure if they grounded the chassis to the block with 4g or better.

2) Its connected to he factory wiring via the harness that I was sent with my HU.
