RCA! What's with the prices?

I can't do the Big 3 because that will void my waranty on my Durango. Also I can't get a HO alternator for my Durango because it has a 4.7l. Trust me I tried getting mine rebuilt and looking for ones all over the net but no one has one. A new battery seems like my only choice her.
What size fuse's should I have in the distibution box? Also I'll be keeping the cap I have just so I know what the voltage read outs are but I need to know if the distibution box goes before or after the cap.

buying RCAs is a rip off. MAKE your own. You ever unscrew one of the connectors on a pair of RCAs? ANY QUALITY RCA will have 2 STRANDS. 2, that's absolutely nothing. Just take some decent wire that has MORE THAN 2 STRANDS, twist it 4 times per inch, solder some RCA connectors and you have better quality RCAs than what any company sells.
