RCA Splicing Question

I've got a 2001 Infiniti I30 with a CD Changer in the trunk. I'd like to pick up a Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver and splice the RCA outputs from it into the CD Changer wiring. This way I could get in the car and sync my iPod Touch with the receiver and play a CD with a long track of nothing. Powering it wouldn't be an issue since I could get an inverter and mount that inside the dash.

The snag I'm running into is figuring out which parts of the RCA cables (after I would cut off the tips) is the negative, and which is the positive. Does anyone know how I could do this?

Thanks!
