rca question/4 channel vs (2) 2 channels

try clear up your question a bit... not sure what you're asking.

one 4 channel rca = two 2 channel rcas. there's no difference other than that a 4 channel RCA comes in one piece. Good if your RCA inputs are close together (a 4 channel amp). But if you're running two separate amps that will be mounted no-so-close to each other, two 2 channel RCAs would be ideal.

but i could run 1 4channel without any interferance between my high rca cable and sub rca cable picking up each others frequencies correct?

because we always talk about noise through rca's (mainly if they are ran with the power/ground wire) and i just wanted to make sure each channel wouldnt pick up the other frequencies

only negative thing i could think of with 4 channel rca's is if one channel went bad then your basically stuck with a 2 channel rca.

i personally for ease of installation run a 4 channel rca and a 2 (well i will be just need to get off my lazy @$$ and install them now)

wondering if there is any reason why/or if i could just run a 4 channel rca cable instead of (2) 2 channel rca cables. never really thought about it, but one channel would be used for my highs, and the other for the sub.
anyone got any input?
No reason why not if you are running everything off the same amp. If you are running 2 amps, that would be an issue in some setups. The amps would damm near have to be stacked on eachother for it to work.

that's not going to happen, maybe if you were running bare RCAs
