RCA plugs...

Alright, So all my stereo components have been delivered so far except for an amp and a crossover which will have to come at a later date when the budget is slightly happier. My dilemma now is that I have a pioneer H/U and all the audio jacks on the back are RCA. Obviously my speaker wires aren't setup with RCA ends on them. What I'm wondering is, while I wait for my amp and stuff how hard is it gonna be to wire those speaker wires into an RCA plug. Like how will it affect the sound, whats the best way of doing it, etc.
