rca outputs bad?

i have an alpine 9855. a while back everything in my truck, audio wise, started going crazy..everything would be playing and then all of a sudden stop playing and my subs would make a whining noise, very high pitch-subs, speakers, amps...i thought it might be my headunit since it controls all of the above, but today i just hooked up a speaker to regular radio power and it worked fine. could it be that maybe the rca outputs are bad?? or maybe the possibility of me having a bad amp and it back feeding to the radio and affecting everything. i am completely stumped and have no idea what to do..

all equipment-

alpine 9855

cadence t10 tweeters

cadence 2" midrange/tweeters

cadence tx 6.5 coaxials

ppi 4 channel-300.4

cadence tx 12's(4)

voltage drops and alt whine are the first things that came to my mind, get better grounds and test your voltage to make sure its staying at least above 12 while running. your probably gonna have to reground everything and do at least the big 3 in 1/0 gauge wire

are you running it with the active xover?

i am not running an active xover...i dont think it is alt whine..ive had that before it doesnt sound the same...even with the sub control off on the head unit the subs still make the hight pitch "note".
