RCA = Beast mode?

So i took out my headunit to see where my rear stage connected to and when i pulled it out, ( i have 4 RCAS into my amp and 4 into my HU) 1 Left, and 1 Right RCA disconnected. I wasn't sure if they were plugged in prior to me pulling it out so i was left them disconnectd. So i started driving and out of nowhere my subs would cut out sort of they would play with Minimal power then out of no where they would go Beast mode Like super beast and made my HU fall out and my drink to spill.. They hacve never ever been that loud on Decaf's version of Aint no Sunshine.... So it was freaking out i was like shit maybe the RCA's so i plugged them back in and everything seems normal now but i have driven around yet. I was wondering why the shit it would go mega beast mode with only 2 RCA's plugged in?

your HU isn't even mounted? seriously do something about that.

the RCA end may have grounded out, confusing the amp or something.

I have these little metal strands that can bend out and make it stuck in place but that didn't work how do you mount yours??

Idk must of kinda felt like i clipped the **** out of it.. it got super crazy

did you use a mounting cage? did the cage come out with the radio? if so, you need to secure the cage into the mounting kit a bit better. pics of your HU install?
