**** Rc 415 Gets another new one!

Well I cant comment on the cooling, because I dont know a thing about whats more effective than others. As far as power, I have a memphis 4kw right now, not 5kw I know, but I'm thinking of changing, and as far as electrical? I have over 200' of 4/0 and I have a 300 amp alternator, and 4 yellow tops, not the best I know, but it should be adequite for daily, which is all I plan on using it for. If you are referring to this sub taking 5kw sine waves or tones constantly, then yes, you are right it probably would blow, but I'm talking about music.

Dont guess you understand that subs will take more power on a sine wave than on music do ya?

Do you you mean that on a sine wave the sub will get more power than on music, because with music the subwoofer is not constantly getting the same ammount of power, while on a sine wave it is. All I meant is that this sub will now blow or break off a 5kw amp on music daily.

ok then... you should clarify those things... a true 5kw on that sub daily will die thats all i wanted to hear... ill leave ya alone now

In that case, yes I agree with you, I dont think there are many, if any that will take a constant 5kw and not be damaged.
