Rattling tailgate in '95 Blazer...

I currently have a 15" Kicker L7 Solo-baric with 1000 watts running to it in a custom ported box.. There arent that many rattles in my vehicle, but my tailgate/backglass rattles like heck at high volumes! I tried taking the panel off the tailgate this evening. I unscrewed the 3 screws I saw and thought it would just pop off... I pulled and it did pop off, but so did some little metal magnet things! I dont really know what they went to.. I just put the panel back on and decided to mess with it later. I really dont want to mess something up.

I know first off I need some sound deadner.. I have no idea how much it will take for the tailgate or what kind to buy.. I also have no idea how to install the deadner.. I want to keep it under $100 if at all possible. Any suggestions? Also, if anyone knows how to take the tailgate panel off let me know...
