i painted my car with about 17 cans of walmart krylon gloss black with a whipping total of about 50 bucks..... clean on the inside krylon on the outside lol

seriously, because of the angle and quality of the after picture, I am going to just assume it was a shitty paint job. I am actually going to try to roll on paint my car next summer. Seen a lot of good results if done right. This shouldn't be any different.

lol love you guys, always make my day. it actually came out pretty good but the roof trunk and hood were really hard to do cuz its flat and the paint doesnt like to be horizontal while spraying. the blacvk looks better then the other. mostly wet sanded so came out pretty shiny

I did the same thing to my old celica when i was 15. Mine only took about 10 cans though, with 2 racing stripes too.

I've done it before, my MR2 was spay can painted. You can get professional looking results, but it won't last very long especially without a clearcoat.

clear starts at 80 bucks for a gal. an ill prob need 2 so nah.

Shoulda just bought a gallon of Duplicolor bedliner for $50. Shit lasts a while. That will look decent for a few weeks at the most. Did it to a friends RX-7 once.

tried rattle clear, it didnt have the same sexy fan tip thats did a 360.....so in other words it sucked

Save up and do a real paintjob.

Its not hard and not too expensive, but more pics
