I have a 2001 VW Jetta and I had a custom box built. If you fold down the rear seats you see the two 12's. I dynamatted the entire trunk. The problem I have is the back deck inside the car rattels on hard bass hits.(The deck that has the brake light in the back window) I put dynamat on the metal under the deck and this helped a lot. But I still want to stop this problem. Can anyone Please Help!!!!!

i had a problem with the center mounted brake light actually hitting the window and making noise. i put a small strip of foam rubber (sticky on both sides) in between the light housing and the glass and it solved my problem

Thanks for the help. I will take a closer look to see if that is the problem.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...
