I just got 2 12" Hx2 and i paid $140$ each i think thats a good price and i dont have much to spend on subs, im only 16, but for the money there good i think im not sure what amp. to run on them yet but i will figure somthin. now whats your input on the Hx2 0=they **** ****&balls, 5=there the shit.

Well, it really depends if it's for SQ or SPL...

you also didn't mention if it was the punch HX2 (RFD2212/2112) or power HX2 (RFR 3112)

I'm guessing punch at that price..

points are for punch first, then power

SPL: 3.5 / 4.5

SQ : 1 / 1

I've heard various RF subs throughout my interest in car audio, and I do remember that with a good install, the RF's can go REALLY, REALLY loud, albeit brutally, hence the reason why they score 1 for SQ.

btw, I currently run RF subs.

man if you listen mostly to hip hop they are great subs. they are not sq subs. there was a kid who came to the shop who had 2 12 punch hx2's and an old power 1000 and you could hardly sit in his car. if you just wanna boom, they will do the job imo. i would run em because i dont care much for sound quality or tight bass. i almost bought the 2212's.
