Hello, I was serching for something like that and did't find one so, let's do it,

let's rate everybody top 5 component sets #1 will be the High End and #5 would be a "fair" set.

if its price is fairly and directly related to its performance, than thats a set thats hard to beat LOL

Can't really list top 5 as I have heard several setups with a DIY route of mixed tweeters and mids and they have sounded much better than some components. Actual components that I've heard/owned I'd say...

1. Zapco CK 16.2

2. Crystal Mobile Sound (forgot the model)

3. Hertz Hi-Energy

4. DLS Iridium

I heard some diamond speakers (I think the higher end). They sounded so clear.

The only real "set" I'd probably go for would be the Hybrid Legatia line, at least Hybrid realizes how useless passives are in a vehicle and leaves them out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If you can manage to find a steal on a set that uses good drivers (like Alpine Type Xs or Polk SRs), go for it, but dollars to donuts, I'd rather piece something together using individual drivers bought at Madisound or elsewhere.
