You need more sound deadening. I'm not even done with my deadening yet.

yeah. my doors are coated with edead and they still need more, probably another layer

just a suggestion.....take some lexan or plexiglass and melt it and then use some contact cement over those gaping holes at the bottom of the door.

Im really worried about the outer door metal, but its covered in nasty OEM deadner and I dont think i can get it off..

Did anybody else have that in their car?

Try cleaning the outer skin with some ***-E-TONE and make sure it is clean and dry and try a small piece to see if it will stick to the OEM dampening, if it does, finish the outer skin and if it doesn't don't worry about it.

If you can remove the OEM dampening...I suggest doing so....I know in my car we had to use degreaser to get rid of that poor excuse for dampening....500 Square feet later....

okay, did you watch the vid? The outer skin seems pretty good, I also have damplifier on spots where there is no OEM stuff

Its in a 1991 Range Rover, its somewhat hard but seems tar based and is a little greasy if you rub it hard

between the metal and the interior door panel? Is this to reduce rattling on the interior panel?
