Hey guys I've done research and I FELL IN LOVE WITH ASSASSINS!! was wondering if you guys can rate this setup or anyways to make it even better! Like different amplifier maybe???

Doesn't look too bad for the sub setup.

That's no budget system though. I put together a budget setup with an AE av12, Directed 1500d, Polk 300.2, Kenwood 6023 headunit, Cadence componets, wiring and an enclosure for $750.

I would seriously consider building your own ported box and maybe a different amplifier that has a lower price with equal or greater performance than the infinity.

similar to what i did for my budget subwoofer setup.

two AA assassin's

q-logic sealed box

profile ap1000m amp

some cheap 4awg kit

if at all possible i'd build your own (ported) box, the output gain will be significant.

also you could probably find similar amounts of power for less money.

Box sucks ***, subs aren't that great, the amp.You can EASILY find double the power for that price.

Overall, pretty weak *** set-up for $500 schmackers.

I do agree that you'd be better off building your own box. A sheet of MDF is only $20 + $10 for glue and screws, but you'll end up with a MUCH better box that's spec'd perfectly for the subs.

Could also shop around to find equal/more power for that price or less. Assassins are very good "budget" subs. VERY happy with the 2 8's I bought a few months ago. Good luck....

That amp will not be as powerful as the one you linked. You need your power at 2 ohms and not 1 ohm.
