Wow, a lot of noobs here who have never seen a cyclone before.

I've 7 of these and have owned nine over the years... One of the best SQ subs I've heard and as well as being great at playing infrasonic bass...

Infrasonic is right. Cyclones kill the low lows, but their output in the upper bass and midbass region is virtually nonexistent. Many people using them actually run a 'normal' sub along with it to hit the higher bass notes. I agree cyclones sound divine in the lowest octaves, but if I have to run a normal sub with it anyway (and output is not amazing), I think Id rather just stick to a normal subbass setup. But, plenty of people love them for the novelty and rarity if nothing else.

The 2.5-3 cf is recommended for in car, and you can port it at 3 cf, I just don't recall the port dimensions. In house all you need is the 3 cf box. The 8 cf would be ideal, but who really has that kind of room?
