Also, if it were with MDF, would 4x4x4 internal be good? it equaled about .037...one liter is .035

Yeah that would be good for them. Just remember to cross them over correctly. I would say 125hz/18Khz minimum at 12db/oct.

Yes they are a cool replacement, one of the guys on the club bought like 12 of them off me to make a killer set of speakers for his bro. Cool guy!
