So I'm waiting on 1 of my 2 cvr12's to come back from kicker, and ive got the other one and my amp sitting in my room staring at me.. I've already planned on building a new box. Seei ng as its going back into my mustang, it cant be a huge box like my last car. I thought I might do 2 seperate boxes, or would one single box without a wall between the two( chamber i think is the term) be better? Going for looks, but performance is more important. any input on this?

thinking of doing 1.5cft. per sub. in 2 seperate boxes or 3.5cuft. single chamber box. which would sound better? and which would handle more power?

best output on the boxpro 6 program is 2.84 per sub tuned from 34-37 htz in individual chambers. if u cant achieve that then 2 cubes per chamber would work but they would need more power to push through the small box to sound better. but individual chambers and 34-37 htz sounds best for cvrs

max height 14

max width 38

max depth 20

also need to mount the amp somewhere. hate mounting it on the back seat,

ill be running close to 500 per sub.

i could run them at 4 ohm and put close to 1k on them in series. i thought of doing a small box, 28x14x15 how would that be? little over 2.5cuft.. and how do u tune a sealed box?

thats what i thought.. so would the deminsions i gave produce a good, clean, sound? i do i need to go bigger? i just want it to be good when the other sub comes back so i can pop it in and break them in. im hatin not havin my system in so im tryin to make sure everythings better and done right while my car is stripped down inside

You don't...
LIAR!!!!!!! lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D

not a tru tuning but you can use polyfill etc.. to acheive diff tune and im

pretty sure theres some formula for it there's a formula for everything lol

ive used polyfil in my last 2 boxes, noticed a difference with and without it in. so any answer on which would be better the max i can make it or the 28x14x15 sealed single or seperated chamber?

its very easy actually. remove the back seat. 4 bolts! then theres a thin peice of metal that u can bend/cut out of the way and the box, as long as its not to tall will slide in. and boom your done! no need to bother trying to fit anythin besides a baseball in the opening of the mustangs!

if u need pics let me know i can take them. just need a 10mm socket, and a pair of kleins to bend the metal up and then back down to put the seat back in. i think its a max height of like 14.5"
