is ther a real difference between the slx and slc?

would you choose the:

I'm telling you my SLCs are some of the best comps I've over owned. Even my old JL XRs couldn't touch 'em.

The mid-bass is solid in my doors, and the silk tweeter is smooth and bright.

I don't know the differences between the SLC and SLX.
