rainbow Pro CS265 kick bass

Okay, I'm selling the CDT ef61's(nice mids but too harsh for my ears) and I've decided to sell the Memphis Q set I just bought(not harsh but weak mids).

I'm trying to decide which speaker to get and I saw the Rainbow kick bass mentioned but there wasn't much info about them. Has anybody listened to these? Do they really have more midbass than most? Do they work well in IB?

Basically I want a passive component set I can drop in without much fuss. And I'm looking for killer midbass and either mellow highs or some adjustability for the tweets(xover att).

oh, I upped my budget to $500 if I need to. I'd like to stay under $300 if I can find something great but if not I have the money to spend.

that sounds like an excellent set for what you are looking for...just a tad over that budget, but reachable..

What's the difference in the kick bass and the normal 265's?
