Rainbow Germs vs DLS up6i

Looking to upgrade my frontstage and found 2 great used comp sets @ a very good price Rainbow $250 and DLS $200. Both claim to be gently used but that purely subjective.

Havent heard either set, and acually dont know if Im comparing apples to apples, read up on them and both get great reviews, I dont know if I can go wrong with either one.

I listen to all types of music but mostly hip hop, r&b, and reggae.

Im looking for a SQ sound without ear bleeding tweets that can blend nicely with (2)8w7. I will be feeding them 100w per with a PPI 1200.4

New the Germs are more expensive but I know that doesnt mean better..

Im looking to make a decision in the next 2/3 days, any input is HELPFUL

The DLS is a little more laid back than the Germaniums. So if you would like a more natural neutral sounding set, get the DLS. If you want a nice sharper sound with a bit more punch, go for the Germs.

Well I ended up with the Germs, I waffled too long on the DLS's and dude sold them on me..

Ill tell you what the Germs are a BEEFY set, very impressive looking, just by looking I understand the price point. Theres no denying the quality in this set, thats for **** sure!

The mids are pretty much what I was expecting, die cast frame and screaming for 100 rms! But the tweets I just could not believe how HEAVY these jokers were, one was just as heavy as my blackberry.

Man I cant wait to get these install this week!
