I'm kind of interested in them but i was also looking at some CDT's and wondering if they are really worth the price tag?

I don't know much about the Rainbows but I put the same CDT set in my wifes car and sounds pretty nice and has held up well for over a year with 180 watts a side.But I think you would do better with one of these sets from woofers http://www.woofersetc.com/p1109/ES620--CDT-Audio-EuroSport-65"-2Way-Component-Speakers.htm or this one http://www.woofersetc.com/p5091/ES610--CDT-Audio-EuroSport-65"-2-Way-Component-Speakers.htm.I like the DRT 25 tweeter in the ES620's much better than the TW25 in the ES610's.You would be getting a lot better set of components and crossovers this way and drop the rear fill and the upstage. just my .02$//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

No you wouldn't. Rear fill is more of a detriment than anything, it's good for a little extra volume but not much good for any sense of realism. Forget the rears.

You should like both the Rainbows and CDT's, im using both brands myself and they sound great. Like the other guy said i would leave the rear out and put the cash towards the better set for the fronts.

i hate cdt speakers, have never heard a set i liked.

It might be the installs but none of them were even moderately impressive from there price point.

i'm talking Escalade ESV size vehicle, no other speakers in it except bad *** subs....
