Radio running battery dead from courtesy lights

I installed an Eonon 1305 and installed it right to the tee just the way it's supposed to be conected with wires and all. Went great. But,,,,,over night the battery went dead so I charged it up and checked it out and here I checked and when I pull the courtesy light fuse I get a fine blue spark like something is on all the time although I pulled all the bulbs. Now, the radio called for the hot wire to be connected to the always hot from the original radio connection and I did that. Of corse the radio has a clock but shouldn't drain the battery.

Are you able to turn on the radio with the keys in your hand?

Here is an idea, pull the radio fuse and see if you still have the drain on the battery.

Sounds like you may have your memory wire (yellow) and/or power wire (red) connected to you illumination wire OR

Maybe your illumination wire rest at (+) 12V and your radio illumination is (-) ground. do your parking lights or dash lights or any lights turn on when the key is out of the ignition?

Or maybe the unit is defective and has an internal short

Good luck!
