Radio Reception

I am helping a lady w/ her 05 Expedition, she a has a flip out kenwood indash dvd unit installed and the radio reception as well as the tv reception is really weak. Any ideas that will improve this. The ant. plug is hooked into the unit btw.

I'm not 100% sure, I haven't been able to look at everything on it. The factory ant. is a small box on the back windshield if that helps.
