radio not working

i have a 1992 chevy silverrodo i put a new cd player in it. i had to run new speaker wires cuase i could'nt find the old ones. i got it working but have 2 probs. it dont turn off when i turn my truck off, and i cant find the **** antenna wire so radio dont work can u help me?

Underneath your dash between the steering column and the old radio is the factory amp. Remove the amp and unplug all the wires, and you will obtain all the wires that you need including the antenna plug. If you buy Metra's 1858 and the antenna adaptor GM10, it'll make things a lot easier.
