radio not work plz help

im putting a kenwood kdc-mp2008 in a 93 grand am the stock radio quick working so i checked the fuses they look fine and thought the radio went ill just replace it with a aftermarket one no big deal ive done it enough times when i pulled the radio out it looks like someone tried wiring a radio in without a adapter and put the stock head back in it i cant get it to turn on or stay on at all it wont turn on if i turn the key forward but if i turn it back to accessory it turns on and then turns off in a couple of seconds and the radio blinks saying protect when cars running the car also has a factory alarm that i have the fuse pulled tho cuz if the keys not in the ignition it chimes i tried with fuse in and out and it still dont work is there a security device that has to be reset in it? someone plz help

You will need a meter to check the wires.

Aftermarket wire - Stock wire (use meter to verify)

Yellow - always 12v

Red - only 12v when key is turned

Orange - (might not be used) voltage changes when you dim interior lights

Blue - (might not be used) sometimes used for power antenna

Black - Ground

i think it has to deal with the factory alarm and i think its triggered and i dont have the keypads either to reset it

Factory alarms are usually enabled when you lock the doors. Then they are disabled when you unlock the doors with the keypad or using the key in the drivers door.
