My old head unit / radio had problems picking up antenna signal - the FM band signal was noisy and not very clean. However I could still set radio to something like 95.5 of another channel and listen to it despite the noise.
Having new head unit installed Pioneer DEH-80PRS I have not yet figured out how to set an exact channel, and the radio refused to pick the channel up when searching of skipping. So I cannot pick up certain radio bands.
Question -- is fixing the antenna-radio connection something an audio shop can do? Do I go to a mechanic instead?
What could be the issue? Obviously it is not the wire-head unit connection, as new installation would have fixed that.
