Pinpoint the rattle and sound deaden it. If its two surfaces bumping together to produce the rattle, you may use weather stripping along the edges to prevent them from rattling together.

I have a 97 civic sedan lx, with two 12's the trunk rattles i tried taping wires down, taking out the brake light and it still rattles. That sound dampening material sounds like a good idea except I want to keep the sound and stop the rattling. Ive herd of dynomat, plastic and even aluminum foil. Please Help.

Just wanted to add a comment that has nothing to do with the actual subject...Please learn to spell. I understand if you type really fast and you have typos but blatent errors in the actual subject line/heading.

I used that egg carton foam stuff and stuffed all my body pannels with it (on top of sound deadening). Wal-Mart-$7.
