Raamat vs SS damplifier

I want to know if the current raamat is worth getting over the more expensive SS damplifier line. I am not looking to spend a huge amount so I am not even considering SS damplifier pro. Please let me know your experience. I have used Raamat about 2-3 years ago and it is still in my trunk floor. I just haven't heard much from them recently so let me know what you think. I know the specs say that the raamat is 60 mils and the damplifier is 50-60 mils so they are about the same. Someone had replied on another forum saying that the raamat was messy when installing or whatever. its just that the raamat is about 25% more surface plus its about $50 less expensive than the damplifier.

be careful about thickness, thickness can mean more air bubbles,

some makers will leave the airbubbles in the mat and make it thick but you need to look at the weight of the product. You will use less damp versus rammat, deadning is about adding mass to the area, a 60mil thick of air bubbles or 50 mil solid butyl get the idea.

any ways bang for buck and overall get damplifier,

yeah you can get raammat for cheaper but you will use more, so more cost of shipping, heavier weight in your car so lost gas mileage.....

both are good products however, the damplifier is a much better product and is def worth the extra money.

I really don't have a problem with the raamat i have on my trunk floor so thats why i was asking about it. i was just getting more deadener for my trunk lid, trunk surrounds, and roof and maybe doors. I had edead there back then and i sure learned the hard way to steer away from edeads weak deadener now.

You've got a good point. I'm not whoring for SS, but the DP and LLP did more than what I had anticipated and I love it.

Just giving you my "professional" opinion.

O and the raamat's weight is like 5ounces per ft^2 and the SS damper is like 7 ounces per ft^2.

whats DP and LLP? Thanks for the advice. I just don't want to spend too much on stuff that i cannot remove from this car because it is a 96 honda accord so its not anything special or that will last a lot longer. but i could be wrong.

DP= Damplifier Pro

LLP= Luxury Liner Pro.

okay so if i get the raamat, its 60 ft^2, 27lb together and cost of $138 shipped. or SS damplifier, which is 40 ft^2, 20lbs together, and cost of 120 shipped. I am so indecisive. lol.

It looks like I'll be able to cover more layers on the same area with the raamat and still be able to have more weight on the area but it would cost a little more.

damplifier makes a difference...just got done with my car and i notice better bass response in my factory system
