I've been out of the game for so long now that I wouldn't know what to look for. I still have my old Clodbuster and my 1985 Team Associated RC10. I still get the RC10 out every now and then and its still a blast to play around with but I just hate having to re charge every 4-5 minutes. The Reedy 12 turn I have on it sucks the batt dry pretty quick.

if you ever want to sell those vintage trucks let me know. and i say electric FTW with the cheap hobby king lipos you can get 40 min runtimes with1/10th brushless trucks. i run side by side GP3300 6-cell NIMH's now and get 25ish. with nitro you have to worry about fuel the engine and noise. with electric it plug n bash.

His comment was what I was referring to. Since it was just above mine, I didnt think quoting was necessary.

I never said it was an investment. But people who think putting 1000 in their RC truck makes it worth atleast 600 are stupid. They might pull 300, thats the point i was making. R/C is a rough hobby.

brushless/lipo FTW

a mini revo with mmp will do that easy with right gearing, i bet it would go faster if it was more stable

i have a BL mini revo hopped up to death (in indy? pm me i'll part it out) and a 40+mph vendetta st (set up for carpet) im trying to sell em both theyre a fn pain in the ***. back into car audio, its cheaper in the long run.. i prolly got 2,000 worth of shit and i cant even get 300 out of it, the depreciation is rediculous

bull shit

a brushless lipo system might be able to get close to that. The tires on his e-revo couldve caused a higher than normal which is a problem with running radar on an R/C vehicle but a nice brushless system should have no problem getting 65 or 70 out of it.

Who said they are an investment? There just good stupid fun that costs a shit ton of money. I had a massive amount of fun building mine. And even more fun watching it do donuts and run zoom around at 40mph. 65 70 sure.. But 85 on a mini? I dont think so. Vid proof required for claims of that speed. Been around RC way too long to believe it.

like i said, depending on the tires, that could defiantly be high. Thats the problems with people radaring savages and t-maxxs with the bigass tires. You cant radar it.

But some people still think the radar is accurate. A stop watch and 2 marks in the road would be more accurate.
