not to be a dick...but that is honestly the gayest thing I have seen. You know there are other options besides painting them right? There is a thing called laminex or rockblocker. This is just totally cheap and unprofessional looking.

im doing a all gloss with flat black accent thing....im slowly blacking everything out..gas cap, handles, grille, etc will all be flat black..spokes on the gloss black rims will be flat black.
Do this^^^ And then tint the tails if they dont hold up, black out the mini logos and black out that light cover on the back as well as the reflectors if you feel comfortable doing so. Would look sweeeet imo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

edit-Haha I didnt see the second page. Never mind //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

But still, black out the logos //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

For a Mini, I like it. The nylon is kind of a cheap way to do it though, imo. Paint is just so much easier. It looks wierd with the paint being glossy.

I do like them wheels though, what kind are they?

i want flat black accents..if the nylon fades bad, ill tint them, but they WILL be flat....

Konig Hotswaps are the rims.

and i beg to differ, but you saying paint is "way easier"....

it took me LITERALLY, 3 minutes per light.... no glue, nothing...paint requires cleaning, prepping, etc....if this doesnt hold up, ill tint with VHT nightshades, but for now i really like it, and paint ISNT easier than this...lol

IMO it looks pretty good. hopefully it holds up well for you. you should definitely get some center caps for your wheels though. IMO that is ghetto.
i have center caps..the spokes are chrome...in process of painting them flat black...spokes hold the caps on so i cant just put the center caps on while i have the spokes off for paint.
