"Man of the Year": Don't rent this

I watched this last night and it was horrible. Seriously, horrible. The last 5 minutes were alright, but I'm surprised I even made it that far. Don't rent it.

I thought all the movies mentioned in this thread were pretty good. I have to watch Blood Diamond, but I have rented it, just waiting till me and my fiance get time to watch it together.

I am still wondering what was so bad about Babel or Man of the year. Did you people just not grasp them or soemthing?

I just rented Borat, Casino Royale, For Your Consideration, and Harsh Times. Have yet to see any of them, already saw Borat several times though.

Probably gonna go tonight and rent Rocky, if they have any, and maybe I'll try and pick up Blood Diamond as well.

MOTY was all over the place. It was comedy, then it was drama, then it was comedy again. There were many lulls in the movie, and there must've been 10 times where I was thinking how stupid the main female character was. Just a stupid movie.

And I'm all for comedy. I still get a kick out of Twins.

They are many movies out there that go from comedy to drama back to comedy.

Sorry you didnt like it, but personally me I thought it was a good movie and liked the ending.

Love Borat, one of my all time favorite comedy's.

Casion Royal has some mad action scenes in the begining, but lacks alot in the middle. Ending is cool, classic Bond really, hope that didnt give it away.

Havent seen For your consideration nor Harsh Times. Might have to check into those.

Movies I rented this week are Eargon- Watched last night with kids. I give it a C-. Just wasnt that good really.

Balboa- I hope it is as good as some of the reviews I have read

Tenacious D- Got it as free rental, so will be one if I like then cool, if not, then I just wasted over an hour and a half.

Blood Diamond- Cant wait to see this one, looks like it is gonna be sweet!
