MLK made a change in the US, why cant you get past the fact that he was Black and helped out the black race. He was like any ordinary man, not someone in office of the government that changed mankind. Therefore they made a day to honor him.

What is your basis for agreeing that MLK would use racial slurs toward colored people? Did he do that while he was alive? All I ever heard him refer to them as was Negro, which is not a racial slur.

So I have off from school/work to honor a "good man" but I dont have a day off to honor our founding fathers? Thats BS. The only reason this day was started was to shut up the thousands of *****ing black people...political correctness at its finest.
