I have about $80 left on a gift card and want a good set of ear buds.

None of my friends have a decent set for me to listen to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif they all have lower end skullcandies or sonys. Which are ok but not something I really like.

I listen to alot of electronica and love deep bass and alot of mid.

I tried the Dre headphones and they just seem to be nothing but bass.

I found some Denon headphones for $50.

Im willing to spend close to $100, less is always better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

here are a few I think may be what I like

earbuds because you can overhear regular headphones in my office.

I like the bose to, which is kinda sad.

I have heard a set of $400 shures that kill most over ear headphones.

I have some higher end noise canceling sonys but I dont like having huge ass headphones on at work

i dont see a problem with having a good set of headphones, i listen to them alot, why not spend a little bit and have them sound good

dosent best buy have Ultimate Ears stuff now?

just looked, they sell AKG and audio technica stuff online now, supposed to be really good

My friend bought a set of the Shure headphones which were around $100 and they were fairly awful. I have a pair of the Bose earbuds and they are nice, but pretty bass heavy. Not sure whether they are worth the money however.

Klipsch S4 easily, assuming your store carries them. Pretty decent sound, far better than the shitty Bose earbuds. Shure SE-115 is also a decent set, but they made me feel like I had cotton balls in my ears. The S4 set is pretty comfy IMO. The most common complaint I've read about the S4s is sizzly highs, but my Sansa Clip+ has a nice 5-band EQ to help tame some of the problem frequencies. They have a pretty full sound, with enough bass for most peeps. I don't think I found the midrange to be offensive, so that's good for my music (rock, metal, etc.) I slightly prefer my Denon AH-C551K set, but that's only because I find the amount of bass more satisfying. Not quite as comfy as the S4 set was, though.

The S4 set has a 2-year warranty and if you don't like them you have 30 days to return them to BB.
