"Amp turn on" wire, but no amp

So what do I do with the blue and white wire if I don't have an aftermarket amp? Is it safe to just wrap in electrical tape or should I splice it anyway? I am using a scosche stereo connector and the car is an 04 pt cruiser

For safety put a wire nut or electrical tape, but if no wire is exposed then it is fine if left alone

Will hurt anything if I just splice it together like I'm doing the rest of the wires? The one on the connector to the one on the plug that goes into the radio?

Just wrap electrical tape around it and leave it. Then if you get an amp just remove the tape and run the remote wire.

NEVER leave any exposed wiring ever ..especially from factory as they generally pre-strip for installation.Tape it up/cap it off.ect or both.
