Can someone please help me out. I have 4 guage wire from the bat but a 8guage converter the the amp itself and 8g. ground. Can i hook up an 800wrms amp to these wires without hurting anything?please answer fast its the last nice day off the year and i wanna get one last ride in thank you

y getting around 500 watts with that a guage wire rite? because i really dont see a big difference between what i have now and what i had before, i mean it sounds almost as loud as when i had the 4 guage in

What do you mean lol, sorry im new to all this. My old car had the same setup but with 4g. wire, im just asking if im getting the same amount of power with the 8 as i was with the 4, im guessing im not. and yes, i am on drugs all day everyday. I know i need to stop but i just cant function without opiates lol
