it works awesome, just install the program then read the tutorial on how to change it to mpg or avi, its very easy and fast.

you are correct.

download the riva thing

open the flv file as input

and in the output it will put .flv as the default extension, just change that to .mpg and convert away

i just did it and it works, kinda had me wondering because after i hit encode the program screen turned white and the title bar said not responding

but it worked

so in essence the programmers were too lazy to put in a progress bar.
