Quick, yes or no question about installing speakers!

Do I need to disconnect the negative battery terminal when I install a new set of speakers? Crutchfield said something about it, but I'm just making sure.

Eh, you can if you want to be safe..... not really necessary though.

Nah. you only should disconnect it when running power wire and stuff or wiring the entire system... but even then you dont have to

not if your simply switching out a set of speakers.

just be carefull screwing them down. i remember the very first set of speakers i installed like 10yrs ago....i was so excited that my hand slipped while screwing them down and i put the screwdriver right through the surround....lol.
