Quick Voic coil question

Had a real quick question. I got a sub and 1 coil is reading 2 ohm and the other is reading 4 ohm. When i wire them together its reading 1.5 ohms. Is it ok to run it like this or is that bad?

Ive been looking around online trying to figure out how this could even happen. Its got me very confused at how the hell a sub would have 2 different reading voice coils.
