Quick Sub port firing question

Hey everyone, i have a 2000 VW jetta and im about to put in 2 rockford fosgate P1 12's in a ported box tuned to 37Hz, also the boxes vent is in the front with the subs, i was wondering for loudness, should i face the subs and the vent toward the cabin or toward the back of the trunk ( oh and my trunk is sealed off from the cabin) thanks for your input( and i already did a search and couldnt come up with a good answer)

Can you fold the seats down? Personally, I would just fire the subs back. It will be louder to the ear. The only downside is there will be more rattle...at least in my install it is like that. So if you want louder, face back. If you want cleaner sound and less rattle but sacrafice loudness to the ear, face forward.

my car already has 8 monsoon speakers and it barely rattles so i think that is covered, and if it rattles it doesnt really matter to me....by back do you mean toward the cabin or toward the back of the car?? and yes the seats do fold down

Back means toward the back of your car. Toward the trunk.

Yea probably. My subs def hit alot harder with the seats down
