Quick Silly Q

^^^^

**** you andrew, I have new system in the mail - check the signature

I just didn't wanna ride around listening to distorted door speakers for a few weeks, so fred was nice enough to offer up his little audiobahn amp for me since I sold my IA 20.1 (which was on the 9917).

complete ****tard

Why don't you run two coils in series to each channel of that amp and just drive the sub with both channels? Thats not going to hurt the sub, as long as you wire it up correctly.

It would be the same either way, actually.

It's a quad 2. So you could wire two coils together to make 2 four ohms loads = 200W per channel: 400W total.

Or a 2 ohm load on one channel: 400W total.

Probably is better to do it on two channels, however. Less strain on the amp, and I believe that it'll be more efficient at 4 ohms.

Correct me (nicely) if I'm wrong.
